This is looking like the biggest betting tournament ever in the history of gambling and there are so many bets to have that it is going to be a great time to try and steal some money from the bookies.

So lets start at the top and the first bet is to LAY SPAIN to win the tournament. At around 4/1 to lay this looks like a rock solid bet to have. They may be the favourites but favourites don’t tend to do well and there passage to the final has loads of tough games.

The next bet is to LAY ITALY! Returning champions have a serious bad record in World Cups and laying Italy is tantamount to buying money at 11/1.

A good fun bet is to back several players for the ‘Golden Boot’ ie the top scorer in the tournament. This is usually tied to the team you fancy to do well so have several as this will keep your excitement running. We fancy KAKA (16/1), ARJEN ROBBEN (22/1), FRANK LAMPARD (50/1), THIERY HENRY (80/1), JULIO CESAR (80/1).

Some other interesting bets SOUTH AFRICA must be worth a small bet to qualify for the knock outs (15/8) since host nations tend to do well.

JAPAN played well against England and they maybe worth a small bet to qualify for the knock out stage as well.

Playing on a new continent means that the old adage Europeans win World Cup in Europe and South Americans win tournament in the Americas may not apply so try a small bet on a AFRICAN country winning the tournament at 16/1 means that if there is a surprise team it will give you enough room to sell the bet later on and lock in a profit. Add to this SOUTH AMERICA to have the World Champion at 9/4 is a good bet too.

Add to this little bets should be HOLLAND  to win the World Cup. They have a history of doing well and as Spain did in the European of laying the ghost of not preforming on the big stage. They could do the honours and win the title at last (10/1).

The price of a hung parliament is now 4/6 do not sell as it is will get shorter. However now is the time to lay the Conservatives (or back both Labour and Liberal Democrats) to get the most seats.

Presently you can get 4/1 Labour and 20/1 LibDems so the bet could be £4.20 win Labour and £1 win LibDems. Total return would be £21 if either get the most seats.

The stand out bet from the draw is to lay England at 6/1 because England will create a little drama in the competition. The hope is to back them at bigger odds later on therefore locking in profits. if they do not make the usual slip up then you are looking at a 16% payoff on a team that will have to progress the Brazil, Germany or Spain in the future – a viable proposition.

Other bets to consider:

Wayne Rooney (14/1), Samuel Eto (40/1), Nicolas Anelka (40/1), look value bets for highest goal scorer.

Must lay Russia to host 2018 World Cup.

Right it is getting to the time where you have to have a bet on the nonsense that is Big Brother 10.

The theory goes that since women hate women dont back a woman unless all the men are idiots. So far that little theory stands its ground with only 4 women left in the house. However the favourite is an upper class twit which although funny he will bore his audience with his drivel. The other blokes are playing the game as players so why not back the women to have a late flourish the price is 4/1.

Big Brother Bets:

A woman to win 4/1

Freddie not to win 2/5
