Looking for value is our raison d’être, therefore we tend to go for big fancy prices. Today we will go for a major favourite Indianapolis Colts (4/9) to beat New Orleans Saints (7/4).

The reason for this is that Indianapolis Colts have overcome two of the best defences in the NFL.

Minnesota Vikings are in a difficult game against New Orleans Saints, however, if they get pass them then they could upset the favourites Indianapolis Colts, if they should comfortably win against New York Jets.

Therefore take the 9/2 now (5.5) and have a nice fat profit on February 7th.

Rage Against The Machine

Rage Against The Machine

There is a Facebook group that is trying to manipulate the Christmas Number 1 so that Simon Cowell does not force his protege unto the sheep like public with his X-Factor abomination.

All though I am not a big rock/heavy metal fan I am all for this so lets publicise this great cause and also make some money at the same time.

The current odds are 7/2 on Rage Against The Machine so buy loads of RATM and then put the same amount of money onto the 7/2 and win loads of mullah for Xmas and do some good for society as well.

The perfect WIN/WIN situation.

The stand out bet from the draw is to lay England at 6/1 because England will create a little drama in the competition. The hope is to back them at bigger odds later on therefore locking in profits. if they do not make the usual slip up then you are looking at a 16% payoff on a team that will have to progress the Brazil, Germany or Spain in the future - a viable proposition.

Other bets to consider:

Wayne Rooney (14/1), Samuel Eto (40/1), Nicolas Anelka (40/1), look value bets for highest goal scorer.

Must lay Russia to host 2018 World Cup.

Further to the tip we gave for Casey Jones (40’s now down to 20’s) we were looking at trading opportunities - now is the time to take some profit and have a little tickle on Barbers Shop (6/1) and Cappa Bleu (9/1).

The best advice however, would be to follow the first six that finish the race as they have consistenly showed a profit over the following months - Good Luck!

Cheltenham has not been good to us this weekend an even worst for the horses concerned (1 was put down, the other was severly injured). This means that a concerted effort is needed to get a profit for Christmas.

Therefore a little tickle on Casey Jones at 40+ may give room for trading if remaining fit for the big race.
